So, I’m at Mobility Cup in Nepean, across the river from Ottawa. I’ve participated in Mobility Cup as a volunteer and companion sailor for over fifteen years. I don’t do it because of some sense of civic duty. I do this because I love it. I meet wonderful people and the outpouring of love and respect is overwhelming.

Prince Philip’s motorboat up for auction
HRH Prince Philip’s motorboat, a 1956 Albatross MkIII Super Sports Runabout, will go up for auction in April through Bonhams. First owned by HRH the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the 1956 Albatross MkIII Super Sports Runabout is one of only 607 of its type produced and will go up for sale on 10 April 2022 at the Goodwood Members’ Meeting.

Sarah Douglas: a Roller Coaster ride to Tokyo
This February, Sarah Douglas, Canadian Olympic Team member in the Laser Radial class, won the Laser East Midwinters in Key Biscayne Florida. In the fleet of 89 boats, Sarah scored four bullets and her drop was a 4. Sounds simple enough – she’s a pretty fine sailor and should do well at the Olympics in Tokyo. Not so fast.
