Canadians Crack top 10 at the ILCA and 29er Midwinters West

Eleven Canadians finished in the top 10 category at the 2025 ILCA and 29er Midwinters West Regatta held last weekend hosted by Alamitos Bay Yacht Club in Long Beach CA.

In 29er, congratulations to Kai Ramsey and William Stratton (2nd, RVYC), and Alexis Kuo and Ayden Kuo (9th, RVicYC). Also, congratulations to Alice Wan (RVYC), 6th in ILCA 4, Enzo Biello and Andrew Deseau (WVYC), respectively 8th and 9th in ILCA 6, and, in ILCA 7, to Sail Canada’s Development Squad member Fillah Karim (3rd, RVYC), Kelley Poole (4th, RVicYC), Al Clark (6th, JSC) and Duncan Pearce (10th, RVYC).

A total of 36 Canadians took part in this event showcasing 209 sailors, including 22 teams in i420.
