CORK not cancelled….so far

April 23, 2020

The CORK Board continues to monitor developments and meet regularly to plan for the future. Generally, our partners (Sail Canada, Ontario Sailing, City of Kingston, class associations, etc) continue to take a waiting approach, with cancellations until the end of May for some.

The possibility remains that a national body such as Sport Canada could mandate a general cancellation.

We have a few updates to share with you all from the last CORK board meeting:

• CORK events are not cancelled at this time, any cancellation decision will be done at least 45 days in advance of each event.
Contingency budgets have been developed to safeguard CORK’s financial reserves.
