17 Canadian Boats at the 2025 Van Isle 360 International Yacht Race

Seventeen Canadian teams took part in the 14th edition of the Van Isle 360 International Yacht Race taking 14 days, May 31-June 14, around Vancouver Island. Split into four divisions, the 44 boats took part in a total of 9 legs of a total 580 nautical mile race.

The Van Isle 360 Yacht Race starts and finishes each year in Nanaimo, the Harbour City and home to the world famous Nanaimo Bar! Stops are all around the island.

Congratulations to the following Canadian teams: “Phoenix” (skipper Gord Wylie, RVYC), 1st in Division 1; “Blue Jay III” (skipper Todd Rutter, Bras d’Or YC/Royal Ocean Racing Club), 2nd in Division 1; “Setri” (skipper Peter Dennis, RVicYC/Seattle Yacht Club), 2nd in Division 2; and “The Kodiak Express” (skipper Jason Hofman, WVYC), 1st in Division 3. Details
