Lilly Rainham Earns Top Female North American at ILCA NA Championships

ILCA 6 sailor Lilly Rainham from the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron in Halifax earned the prestigious title of Top Female North American at the ILCA North American Championships held in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts last week. 

This event serves as a qualifier for the 2025 ILCA World Championship. Lilly’s success comes at a pivotal moment as the World Sailing Organization has recently launched “Steering the Course,” a pioneering initiative aimed at encouraging more women to participate in sailing.

Lilly Rainham’s impressive performance is a shining example of what female sailors can achieve with the right support and opportunities.
