The Board of Directors of Ontario Sailing are pleased to announce that, as selected by the Past Presidents of Ontario Sailing, Wendy Loat is this year’s recipient of the “Presidents’ Trophy” for 2021, recognizing her outstanding contribution to the development of sailing in Ontario.

Wendy has been a long-time National, Regional and Club Judge. She is current Chair of Sail Canada’s Training & Certification Advisory Committee and Co-Chair of Ontario Sailing’s Appeals and Judges Committees. The trophy was presented virtually at Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club’s yearly New Years Levee. Thank you for everything you have done for our sailing community Wendy!

Since then we’ve repowered, installed Starlink, and retired from work. Now, with confidence in our engine and our connectivity and more time to sail, we were Superior-ready.
